Ravenna City

Onorio draws back (402) the capital of the West from the great city of Milan to this strip of the Adriatic coast.

Apart from its decline Ravenna became the heart of the Empire, the head-office of the Teodorico’s Court, the center of the Byzantine Italy.

It’s remarkable that the recent economical take off has renewed the maritime role eventhough the city is 12 km far from the Adriatic Bank.
